Legitimate Sapor

If we love some one why do we have to give them chocolates that give diabetes
Or even roses with thorns that pears the skin of the fingers.
If that’s what love is just gifts that cause pain and sickness
Then when I give her my heart and my life and my attention
Does that make me cheap,
Does that make me a awful person or even forgetful,
If it does then what does that make you
If you cause more pain than me am I really lower than you.  
Sure the chocolates taste good,
Sure the roses are pretty,
But at the end they both are gone in a week.
Is that what you really want, for that love to be gone in a week?
