Ancestry Poem by ~Alchemist941:iconAlchemist941:

I look outside seeing the children playing in the streets
not caring that the cars are honking there loud horns.
It brings back my memories
Of when I was a little girl there was no television
We didn’t have much money
We had to share every thing with our siblings
We were lucky to even get a decent meal
It was always rice beans and bread
Its never different
Its never different.
Now I have grown and now I see nothing
Has changed but there is one hope
One tiny light in this darkness
My daughter who has left to the united states
In search of a better life the chance to change it all
There is only one hope
Just one
